Nigel Robinson
Nigel is an experienced corporate and investment banker who has spent his entire career in the energy, utilities, infrastructure and clean energy space. He has worked on transactions across the globe, and in the past ten years, focused on supporting SMEs in the green energy space such as Foresight, Forsa Energy, Greenko, Platina Partners, Octopus Energy and DRIFT Energy. Nigel is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Master’s Degree in Energy Policy.
Chris Steel
Chris is both an experienced corporate senior manager in global high-tech industry groups and latterly over the past 15 years an investor in advanced engineering SMEs, with a track record of supporting strong growth. He has also developed a wide industrial network through his role as Chair of the National Regional Aerospace Alliance and latterly as part of the Hydrogen South-West Management Board.
Steve Douglas
Steve gained Board Level experience as CFO, COO and Corporate Finance Head at an SME focused City securities house. He brings real depth to working with fast growth SMEs in issues around scaling up and attracting later stage capital. Steve is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Securities Institute, where he also advises clients on the merits of public markets versus private alternatives.
Alexander Griffiths
An ICAEW chartered accountant with 10 years of experience across diverse sectors in various finance roles with extensive experience in financial due diligence, financial modelling, cashflow forecasting and fundraising support

GECP’s mantra is to work alongside management teams and owners for the medium to long term rather than a short-term transaction event focused relationship. GECP will support its clients in their journey through to a Series A funding round, or a liquidity event.
